1. Start with safety and credentials, not specials
The first filter for any local Botox injector is whether they are qualified to perform a medical procedure safely. In most areas, Botox must be injected by, or under the supervision of, a licensed medical professional. Before you get swept up in marketing, verify the injector’s training and credentials. Look for professional licenses (such as physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or nurse), ongoing education in aesthetics, and experience specifically with neuromodulators like Botox. Ask who will actually inject you, how long they have been doing it, and how often they perform Botox each week. If a provider cannot clearly explain their qualifications or brushes off your safety questions, that is a sign to keep looking, no matter how attractive the promotion may be.
